  • I Jane Hawkins of the city of Richmond,
  • to my daughter Mildred Thomas all my wearing apparel, together with Col James Callaway's bond for fifteen pounds, which is in now in the hands of Mr John Woods,
  • I give and bequeath unto my grand-son John Pendleton Thomas a bond of Col James Calloway for fifteen pounds in the hand of Mr John Woods aforesaid together with my Bed and all the furniture thereunto belonging,
  • I give my grandson a debt due my from the said Mr John Woods amounting to six pounds.
  • I also give and bequeath unto Mr John Woods, Wm P Thurston's bond for fifty pounds which is in the hands of my son Joseph Hawkins, also give him all the rent due to me from Edmund Deer.

At a County in Henrico County at the courthouse, Monday the fourth of January 1790 This will was proved by the Oath of Lucy Thomas and Jane Thomas and ordered to be recorded. And being there was no Executor named in the Will, on the motion of John P Thomas made oath and William Price and Charles Tally his security, entered in to bond and obtained a letter of administration on the decedents Estate.
