He was father of Robert Carter Nicholas, the distinguished treasurer of Virginia at the time of the revolution

Did George marry before he married Elizabeth? I have found info stating he had 2 other children, Jane b.@1715 and George Jr. He would have been very young if he was actually Jane's father.
Did George survive Elizabeth? It seems he made statements after her death about his 2 sons being orphaned at age s 7 & 9.
Did George have another wife? I have found info stating he had two other children, Jane b. @1715 & George Jr. If he is Jane's father, he was very young when he married the first time.
