"Also descendant of Blackleach Jesup, a member of the Committee of Inspection, whose sone, James Edward Jesup, was a Revolutionary soldier. Also of John Clark and Ann Rogers, his wife, who had three sons in the war, George Rogers, Jonathan, and Edward Clark, all officers in the Revolutionary Army."
