Research notes from Joanne Y Calvert

(Jane Sewell b. 25 Oct 1659 St. Mary's County, Maryland d. 1693 Calvert County, Maryland): Henry's and Jane's daughter Jane married Philip Calvert. Their child was found buried in a lead coffin next his father Philip and Philip's first wife, Anne Wolseley. Jane went back to England after Philip's death for she was buried 17 May 1692 at St. Giles-in-the-Fields.

The three lead coffins at St. Mary's City are now reinterred in the rebuilt Chapel of 1657 under glass. The remains which have been at the Smithsonian in Washington will be reinterred sometime in the near future beside the lead coffins in a religious burial ceremony.
