- Jeane / Jane Ray Ward was the one of the 6 children baptized by William Ray and Jeane Moore at Haddington , Scotland between 1666 and 1679. She migrated to Calvert County,Maryland at about the age of 10 with her father where she grew up on the tract " Beall's Hunting Quarter" patented by James Moore in 1681. When her father wrote his will in 1732 she was married to William Ward. She married previously to Jonathan Prather who died c. 1723.
