1. Obituary THAMESVILLE, Feb. 19---Mrs. John Buchanan died on Monday at the home of her son, Harold Buchanan, Paris, following a long illness. One year ago she went to visit at Paris and became so ill that she was unable to return to her home. Mrs. Buchanan was born In Zone Township, 78 years ago, a daughter of John and Mary Cruickshank Tinney. She was married to John Buchanan in February, 1896, and continued to live in Zone Township until six years ago when she and Mr. Buchanan went to Windsor to reside. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Anne, of Detroit and Beatrice, of Paris; five sons, William R., on the old homestead; George, John and Roy, of Detroit, and Harold, of Paris. Funeral services will be held at the home of her son, William R. Buchanan, lot 10, concession 1, Zone Township, on Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Jones, of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Florence. Interment will be in Mayhew Cemetery, Thamesville. 2. Note She couldn't be buried in St. Matthew's Anglican Church Cemetery because she was a Methodist
