It is also possible that her maiden name was DENNY if the birth record on 2 March 1794 is correct, with parents James Denny and Elizabeth Rodger (Barony, 1 km W of Eddleston, Scottish Borders). If these are her parents, then there is a record (ScotlandsPeople) for the marriage of James DENNY and Elizabeth RODGER on 29 March 1792 in Barony.
