Jared Foote, first of Colchester, (Conn.,) afterwards of Ellington, in the same State, where he resided five years, and then removed to Pittsfield, (Mass.,) where he resided a number of years, or until about 1798, when he removed to Cornwall, (Ver.,) and there continued to reside until his death,— was thrice married.

1. To Hannah Buell, daughter of Capt. Timothy Buell, of Hebron, (Conn.,) 1753. She died April 5, 1774, in the 39th year of her age.

2. To Hepzibah Phelps, daughter of Charles Phelps, of Marlborough, (Conn.,) from whom he was subsequently divorced.
