1846: Truman and Jarius Bonney, Grandsons of Perez and Ruth (Snow) Bonney, made the trip overland to California in the Grigsby-Ida Party, settling at Eugene and Gold Hill, Oregon, near American Lake, where there used to be a large colony. Jarius settled in Willamette Valley, Oregon, where Jarius died 16 May 1856 (Apr 16,1854 ?) Burial: Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn, Oregon
