About John Totten
Born ca 1680 at Hempstead, Long Island, New York. Died December 10, 1761
at Morristown, Morris Co., NJ. Married Patience (parents unknown) in 1719.
On December 10, 1761, Patience remounced her rights to be Administratix of
Jasper's estate. In a Petition dated march 24, 1762, it was requested that
James, son of Jasper, be appointed legal guardian of his brother John, also
a son of Jasper lately deceased, who was 18 years. Jasper's will probated
December 14, 1761.
