Huguenot.  born around 1645/1646 of Pierre Arcouet , merchant, and Elizabeth Martin ,  of the parish of St-Pierre City Marennes, 17320, Charente Maritime, Poitou Charentes. (Saintonge)   
Abjure his faith in Quebec City 09/19/1665 
Soldier of the garrison of Trois-Rivières in 1671, 
he married in first wedding on 16 November of the same year (Cont. August 16, Not. Ameau), Elizabeth Pepin , aged 12, born about 1659 in Trois-Rivières. She was the daughter of Guillaume Pepin dit Tranchemontagne and Jeanne Méchin, Saint-Laurent-de-la-Barrière, 17380, Charente Maritime, Poitou Charentes in Saintonge.  
She died and was buried on 30 December 31, 1697 in Champlain. (11 children). Secondly wedding , he married dated July 18, 1701 in Batiscan (Cont. June 27, Not. Trottain), Antoinette Lenoir dite Pilois, daughter of Jean Lenoir and Antoinette Pilois, and widow of a first marriage (dated October 29, 1669 in Quebec City (Cont. October 24, 1669, Not. Duquet), with Jacques Le Boeuf. During his first marriage, she had brought goods valued at 300 pounds and a royal gift of 50 pounds. This couple Le Boeuf / Lenoir had three children.   Previously, a marriage contract had been canceled as of September 29, 1669 between Julien Meunier and Antoinette Lenoir at the notary Becquet.   Antoinette Lenoir died after 18 July 1701.   Arcouet Jean dies buried 7 and 9 August 1727 in Champlain.   Housekeeping established in the same place. No child.  (Tanguay, vol.1, p.11, 472.
