Jean Bourgain

Jean Bourgain (28 February 1954 – 22 December 2018) was a Belgian mathematician. He was, from 1985 until 1995, a professor at Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques at Bures-sur-Yvette in France, and since 1994 at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey.
