Jean Stewart was the daughter of Sir John Stewart, Lord of Lorn and Isabel Dougall.[1]

She married Sir David Bruce of Clackmannan, son of Sir Robert Bruce of Clackmannan and unknown Scrymgeour.[1] Her married name became Bruce.[1]
