John VII of Harcourt
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_VII_of_Harcourt
Jean VII d'Harcourt (1369-18 December 1452, Chatellerault) was a count of Aumale, viscount of Châtellerault, seigneur of Mézières, of Elbeuf, of Lillebone, of La Saussaye etc.
He was the son of John VI of Harcourt, count of Harcourt, and of Catherine de Bourbon, sister-in-law of Charles V. On 17 March 1389 he married Marie of Alencon (29 March 1373-1417), princess of the blood, daughter of Peter II of Alençon and of Marie Chamaillart d'Anthenaise, viscountess of Beaumont, and they had three children - John VIII of Harcourt (count of Aumale, lieutenant and captain general of Normandy, killed at the battle of Harcourt),Marie d'Harcourt (1398-1476, wife of Antoine de Lorraine, comte of Vaudémont and of Guise, who is the origin of the Harcourt-Lorraine branch), and Jeanne of Harcourt (1399-1456).
He participated in the siege of Taillebourg, where he was made a knight by his uncle Louis II, Duke of Bourbon, and at the siege of Tunis and Harfleur. He distinguished himself at the Battle of Agincourt (1415), where he was taken prisoner.
In 1418, his castle at Harcourt was taken by the English. His titles of count of Aumale and count of Harcourt were usurped and given to the Earl of Warwick and the Duke of Clarence. His cousin - king Charles VI - therefore supported him and named him captain general of Normandy and gave him a gift of 1000 books. On his death in 1452, he was buried at the Franciscan convent at Châtellerault which he had founded. With him the oldest branch of Harcourt became extinct. ————————————————

b) JEAN [VII] (Lillebonne 1370-18 Mar 1452). A manuscript register records the birth “à l’Islebonne” 1370 of “Jean de Harcourt” [son of Jean [VI] d’Harcourt and his wife Catherine de Bourbon][997]. Comte d’Harcourt.
m (contract Paris 17 Mar 1390) MARIE d’Alençon, daughter of PIERRE II Comte d'Alençon & his wife Marie Chamaillart (Château d’Essay, Orne 21 Mar 1374-Châteauneuf Cordeliers before 1418, bur Châteauneuf Cordeliers). Cagny’s Chronique d’Alençon names “l’ainsnée...Jehanne, la seconde Marie, la tierce Katherine, la quarte Margarite” as the four daughters of Pierre Comte d’Alençon and his wife, noting in a later passage that Marie was born 21 Mar 1373 “ou chastel d’Essay”, married “Jehan conte de Harcourt”, and was buried “à Chasteauleraust en l’eglise des Cordeliers” where she had died[998]. Père Anselme notes Marie’s marriage contract dated 17 Mar 1389 (O.S.?) but provides no citation reference for the document[999]. A manuscript register records that “Jean de Harcourt septiesme du nom” married “Marie d’Allençon” in 1389[1000]. Père Anselme notes that she died before 1418 (without citing any source on which this information is based)[1001]. Mistress (1): PHILIPPA Noelle, daughter of ---. Père Anselme names her as mother of Jean’s illegitimate son Jean but cites no sources on which the information is based[1002]. Jean [VII] & his wife had three children:
