Please help me figure out the timeline for Jeanette Rubin Kreinik Lippes.
Here is what I have so far:
1904-1905 Birth of Max V Kreinik Louisiana: Source 1940 US Census 1940 Census says New York, but they spell Aaron as Errand. My grandmother visited his parents in Cottonport, LA, a year before he was born.

In the 1950 Buffalo City Directory I found Max and Jeanette Kreinik living at r848 W Delavan Ave and also at the same address
Lippes Abr (Shirley: Lippes Bky) h848 W Delavan.
Abe was born 21 Mar 1911 according to his obituary is indexed at

Hello David, Luci Feldman forwarded a message you sent her re. Jeannette Kreinik. Most of your info is correct...only quibble is in your data on Max Kreinik, you mention something about his age as 62 when Jeannette married Abe Lippes, although he died at the age of 55. Jeannette was my mother's elder sister. She and 'Max lived in the downstairs flat of my parents in Buffalo after having lived in Niagara Falls. When Max died, Jeannette remained living there and then moved with them when they moved to Williamsville, a Buffalo suburb. When my mother, Shirley Lippes , nee Sarah Ruben, died in 1960, my father, Abe Lippes, married Jen a few months later. Abe then died in 1963, but jen lived on into her nineties. I left the page with the original info you sent ( not totally adept at seeing two pages at once on my ipad) but i will recheck it and send you any corrections if necessary. I did recently look at a timeline and in some places my mother seemed not to exist and then would pop up in the next bit of info. My cousin, Arnold Ruben, seems to be the family expert on our genealogy. Tough and confusing job you've got there, BTW, Luci's husband is the son of my mother's first cousin, but i don't know if they ever met. Meant to get right back to you and got waylaid. Max did--I think--die in 1963. My mother died in 1970 NOT 1960. These decades get all mixed up after a while. So Abe, my father, married Jen in 1970, and then he died in 1973, not '63. Sorry about that. I make mistakes but usually not that bad. I can give you other info if you need it, but Arnold is definitely more involved. I don't have a phone # for him but I think I may have his email. I believe he lives in the Pittsburgh area. OK, trying to access my contacts. They used to be readily accessible but seem to have disappeared. I will send this, find my contacts and send you another message.
