About Jeanette Ann Nistler

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at St. Mary's Cathedral Lower Church, St. Cloud, MN for Jeanette (Fischer) Nistler, Age 82. She died peacefully Friday, March 15, 2013 at her home from Alzheimer's disease. The Rev. Jeremy Ploof will officiate. Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Marty (Pearl Lake), MN.

Family and friends may visit Sunday, March 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud, St. Mary's Cathedral parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Jeanette (Fischer) Nistler was born September 16, 1930, in Waite Park to Anthony and Gertrude (Schreifels) Fischer. She graduated from Cathedral High School in St. Cloud in 1948. As a young woman, she worked for Lantz Lenses.

Jeanette married George Nistler, August 25, 1951 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waite Park. They lived in Cold Spring for a few years before moving to their home in St. Cloud Township in 1957. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral, Christian Women and a neighborhood faith group. Jeanette was a homemaker. She raised eight children with faith, love and kindness. She delighted in the gift of each new grandchild.

Survivors include Jeannie's husband George; her children: Marilyn (Don) Schleper of Zimmerman, Karen (Rick) Kuschel, Charles (Nancy) Nistler, James (Julie) Nistler, Louise (Tim) May, John Nistler and Andrea Nistler of St. Cloud; Grandma Jean's fifteen grandchildren: Christopher & Ashley; Jeanine, Rebecca & Anthony; Michael, Daniel & Matthew; Adrian, Randy, Kristina & Nicole; Mitchell, Andrew & Stephen; her four great-grandchildren and Jeanette's siblings: Stella Schueller, Eleanor (Wayne) Fischer, Viola Dombrovski and Herman (Marion) Fischer.

She was preceded in death by her beloved: daughter, Patricia Jean Nistler (June 12, 1985); mother Gertrude (Aug. 7, 1959); and father Tony (Aug. 8, 1990).
