Jeanette L. Nyman, 75, Coleraine, died Friday, April 26, 1996, in Itasca Medical Center in Grand Rapids.
She was born in Hibbing, where she grew up and attended schools, graduating from Hibbing High School in 1938. On April 6, 1946, she married John E. Nyman in Hibbing. They moved to Coleraine. For 17 years, she worked in the lunch program at Greenway High School in Coleraine.
She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, Senior Citizens of Coleraine, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Her parents were Wesley and Anna Jackson. She is survived by her husband, John E. "Ed"; three daughters, Jan O'Brien of Bovey, Mary Hepola of Grand Rapids, and Karen Mohagen of Montevideo, Minn.; a brother, Phillip Jackson of Bloomington, Minn.; two sisters, Veldora Rajala of Hibbing and Louisa Huffer of Scottsdale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation: noon until the 2 p.m. services Tuesday in Peterson Funeral Chapel in Coleraine. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Coleraine.
