About Jeanettie Landreth Painter
Jeanettie Painter passed away in her home in Lawrenceville, Illinois, at the age of 60, the daughter of Rev. J.W. and Mary E. Landreth. She married William Painter on August 23, 1894 in Cuzco, Indiana and he survived her.
She was a member of the M.E. Church in Cuzco, Indiana and had been a resident of Lawrenceville, Illinois for fifteen years.
In addition to her husband, she was survived by a son, Cecil Painter; a daughter, Ruby Pearl Simmons; three brothers, Jeoarge, Jess and Henry Landreth; two sisters, America Alexander and Hester Smith; and four grandchildren
She was preceded in death by four children
Rev. H. J. Kemp officiated at services held in her home in Lawrenceville on June 1, 1936. Her body was then taken to Cuzco, Indiana where Rev. E. H. Zipprode officiated services held in the M.E.
