About Jeannette
Jeanette arrived with husband who traveled together on 02-14-1878. Manifest numbers 34676 are same. Ship was S.S. Amerique from Havre France.
In the 1880s they were hit by a flood in Kansas where they lived. Returned to France for three years with three children.
The family had purchased land in California and went to see the land but did not settle when they saw it.
Moved to Keokuk Iowa in 1901.
