We directly descend (30 generation unbroken male line) from "Crinan The Thane" ... King "over" the Picts and the leader of the Irish Dal Riata. Mother being Bethoc, daughter of King Malcolm the II, of whom had no male heirs. Instead, he married off his three daughters to three different kingdoms to bring peace to Alba.. based in the Pictish city of Fortriu.

Bethoc was the oldest daughter, next, Donata... and lastly, Olith. Donota, married Findlaeoch, and their son... was none other than... MACBETH... yes, Maldred, son of Crinan and Bethoc, was Macbeth's first cousin. The third daughter, Olithe, married Sigurd the Stout, leader of the Orkney Islands and their son, Sigurd the Black, became one of the most successful rulers of Scotland. The origins of Crinan The Thane are debatable, but extend back to the time of the early Irish Kings, according to legend. From Maldred, descend the Washingtons.
