About Jennie Cox
Jennie McFarlane Cox, at the age of 92, passed away of age-related problems on April 20, 2007.
Born on June 9, 1914 in Manti, UT
She married Vernon Louis Cox on May 25, 1942. She raised 6 children and a 7th child Donald lived with his mom from a previous marriage.
She lived in Payson for over 50 years. She was devoted to her family & friends. She worked diligently for the church doing all she could; teaching primary, and preparing the ward paper for years. She loved her garden and her flowers were shared with everyone in town. She was especially known for her beautiful Iris and Peonies.
She is preceded in death: by her husband; 3 sons: Donald Cox, Doug Snow, and Bill Cox; also, her daughter Anna Cox Redding. She is survived by 3 sons: Kim Cox, LaMar Cox, and Raefell Cox; a sister, Wanda Larsen of Boise. Idaho. 40 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2007, 11:00 am, at the Payson Park Ward Chapel, 210 South 300 West, Payson. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary Tuesday, April 24, from 6-8:00 pm or at the church Wednesday, 9:45-10:45 am.
Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
