JENNIFER RUTHVEN (aka JANIFER RUTHVEN)

Jennifer Ruthven, here treated, is the daughter of John Ruthven and Mary Henderson. She was born before 23 April 1752, the date upon which her baptism was registered at Glasgow in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her baptismal record reads as follows: "Jn Ruthven Mary Henderson a D Janifer Wit Wm Black Jas Ruthven". Death

A date of death has not been identified for Jennifer Ruthven but she probably died young. She certainly died before her younger sister 'Miss Margaret Ruthven only surviving child of John Ruthven merchant in Glasgow and Mary Henderson his Wife' who made her last will and testament on 3 July 1817.
