INDIVIDUAL_NOTE Jenny emmigrated to America before my mother and her sister Dina did, so it must have been before 1923. She was married to Gustav Lieberman in Chicago also before my mother and dad got married. Then in 1929 or 1930 they moved back to Norway and settled in Vennesla, a small town up the valley from Kristiansand. Gustav's brother Hans had a bakery business there, and I remember he worked for him.We visited there many times, and I remember when their daughter Gerd was born. Aunt Jenny had wanted a child for a long time, but I guess she must have had trouble getting pregnant. Jenny had artheritis, and I think also a bad heart. She was rather heavy, wonderful cheery personality, loved to cook, and to have company. Ray and I visited with Jenny and Gustav in 1956 while we were on our first trip to Norway. Gerd was not married at that time. We have pictures of all of them on our movie film from Norway 1956.
