About Jenny McCracken
Origins
We have two John T Priests that are commonly mistaken for a single individual. There was one in Lunenburg Co., VA that died in Williamson County, TN. There was another one that was born and died in Fauquier Co., VA. NOT: http://www.lawrencefamhis.com/ashton-o/p2811.htm#i70265
1776 Tithe records for Lunenburg indicate the residence of "John Priest." He is the son of Cornelius Priest. Those same records indicate a cross migration of other people from Lunenburg to Williamson and back again.
This is real, his will:
Williamson County Tennessee Wills & Inventories Books 1 & 2 1800-1818 p. 216. John T. Priest. Will, Nov, 1, 1809. Wife Mary: sell Lots in town of Franklin: nine youngest children: Jenney, James, John, Moses , Fanney, David, Elizabeth, Abram and Rhodey Love [note: Rhodey is female! The other Priest family has a male Rhody.].
Two other children already provided for, Thomas and Mary Rivers. Exc: Mary Priest. Wit: Abram Maury and Robert Davis. Proven April session 1810.
