Jul. 27,, 1725:: Jeremiah is born in Reading,, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He is the 7th of 8 children born to Captain Samuel Bancroft and Sara Lamson,, 1girl and 7 boys.

Aug. 01,, 1725:: Jeremiah is christened in Wakefield,, Massachusetts.

Nov. 07,, 1749:: Jeremiah Bancroft,, A24,, marries Elizabeth Nicholls,, A17,, in Wakefield. By all accounts,, Elizabeth,, born Mar. 06,, 1732,, is the daughter of Capt. Ebenezer Nichols and Susannah Moore. They go on to have 2 children,, daughters Elizabeth,, born in 1751,, and Catherine,, born in 1757. The latter child was born on Apr. 01 and deceased shortly thereafter,, on Apr. 10,, 1757. There is no subsequent information for older sister Elizabeth. She,, too,, perhaps did not survive infancey.

Oct. 04,, 1757:: Jeremiah dies at the young age of 32 yrs. old. There is no burial information at this time. His parents are documented,, with headstones,, in The Old Burying Ground,, in Wakefield. Wife Elizabeth goes on to re-marry the widower James Emerson,, sometime prior to 1759. They would have 5 children together.
