Jeremiah Heilman

Jere Heilman, formerly of Annville, and many years ago a member of the reportorial force of the Lebanon Daily News, died suddenly on Saturday at Burlingame, California, where he resided during the past quarter century. The funeral was conducted on Tuesday with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, that city. The Masonic fraternity conducted burial rites at the grave. Heilman was born and reared at Annville, and followed newspaper work here and elsewhere during his entire career. He was proof reader on the San Francisco Chronicle for thirty years, and retired only about a year and half ago. [Lebanon Daily News, November 3, 1943, Page 1]
