Birth

In the book, "Pearce, Bartlett, Matthews, Smart, and Allied Families" (1983, Pg 7), Jeremiah's father Daniel was born in Albany, NY and married Deborah Bussing, also of New York, in 1724. Their first son, Joseph, was born in New York in 1725. Jeremiah was born four years later in 1729. While Jeremiah married Deborah Brouwer in her family home in Shrewsbury, New Jersey in 1755, and that he was living in New Jersey before moving to Virginia, there is nothing to suggest that Jeremiah's father Daniel had moved to New Jersey by 1729.
