Research Notes

On the PBS television show "Finding Your Roots" (16 January 2024), Jesse Blair is identified as the biological grandmother of actor Wes Studi. According to Dr. Henry Gates, one of Jesse Blair’s sons was Wes' biological father. There is currently no way to further identify which son.
