He was one the first settlers of that part of Appling County, which was cut into Ware County in 1925.[citation needed]

He was living with his son Sampson in 1860 in Clinch County[1], near the Ware County Line, and was there at the time of his death.

Jesse Carver was commissioned Feb. 12, 1810 as ensign in the Montgomery county militia and also served as petit juror in April and October, 1811, October 1812.....No Source is Cited
