Buried in Peters Cemetery, Dothan, WV (Fayette County). The Fayette and Raleigh County Genealogical Society has a book that says that Jesse Toney was the father of the first white child born on Mossy Creek. He established the 1st settlement on Mossy Creek with his wife Amanda Jarell in 1848.
