Jesse Plural TURNER is the son of Mathias TURNER of colonial Orange County, North Carolina.

Young Jesse Plural TURNER age seventeen married in 1812 in Randolph County, North Carolina to Mary "Polly" SAVAGE age fifteen. They had one son Martin Sampson TURNER born 13 Feb 1813 in Randolph County, North Carolina.

Jesse Plural went off to fight in the WAR of 1812 but never returned. The young twenty one old widow Mary "Polly" SAVAGE TURNER is alleged to have married Andrew JACKSON, Sr. in 1818. They had a son Andrew JACKSON, Jr. born 23 Dec 1819 perhaps out of wedlock. Andrew JACKSON, Sr. died in 1821 or he left the union leaving his namesake son and a young consort. Now Mary "Polly" SAVAGE TURNER JACKSON age twenty five married a third time in 1822 to Darius YORK age twenty.
