Obituary by Rev. C. R. Fain, printed in The Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Times Dispatch 1913;
Jessie Warren moved to Lawrence County, Arkansas from Gibson County, Tennessee, with her parents in the latter part of 1879. She was converted to the Christain religion and joined the Baptist church at age 15. Sister Benson was a quite unassuming Christian woman, a real kind and affectionate wife and mother. A more godly home I have never knew than The home of Bro. and Sister Benson, it seemed that each one did all they could to make each happy. She gave directions concerning her burial and funeral some time before her death.
