About Jessie Schroth
Mrs. Jessie Abell Schroth, aged 72, wife of Ollie C. Schroth of the Schroth's Ice Cream parlor, Saxonburg, died at 3:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon in the family residence, after a lingering illness. Born in Chicora, Mrs. Schroth had lived in the Saxonburg community for the past 50 years. Surviving are her husband, Ollie C. Schroth; three daughters, Mrs. Norman Maurhoff and Mrs. E. M. Sollie of Saxonburg; and Mrs. Henry Thompson of Tarentum; a son, Arnold K. Schroth at home; three sisters, Mrs. Victor Stuebgen of Spinnett, Tex., Mrs. Clyde Cornwall of St. Elmo, Ill., and Mrs. Lee Murrill of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Charles Abell of Finley O., and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Schroth was a member of the Saxonburg Memorial Church and the Ladies Aid society. Friends will be received at the family residence, Saxonburg. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the family residence, with the Rev. W. K. geese, pastor of the Saxonburg Memorial Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Saxonburg cemetery.
