JoAnn Miller Dobbs, 81, of Gadsden, was born in Dawson, AL, the daughter of the late Joe B. and Fannie Worthy Miller. She graduated from Fyffe High School; and trained as an R.N. at Holy Name of Jesus Hospital in Gadsden, AL. Much of her nursing career was spent at the Mountain View TB Hospital in Gadsden, and she also served as College Nurse at Gadsden State Community College. She tirelessly served her church family at Rainbow Presbyterian in countless ways! She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Bob Dobbs; children, Diane Prince (Lew), Lisa Dobbs, Donna Wiesehan (Rick), Bobby Dobbs (Dianna), Joe Dobbs, Richard Dobbs (Faith); grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Murphy, Imogene Gilbert, Lou Croley (Bill). She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lamar and Charles Eddy Miller; sisters, Estelle Bailey, Vestal Gilbert.
