Joan Denslow

Evidence needed to support Nicholas Denslow, of Windsor, Connecticut (d. 1667( as son of Hugh Denslow alias Bailey, of Netherbury and Joan Denslow.

Nicholas Denslow, parents unknown, married Elizabeth, parents unknown. Their two proven children, according to the Great Migration Begins, were daughters Temperance (Denslow) Buckland and Joan (Denslow) Cook.

There was a Nicholas Bailey who married an Elizabeth Doling, and were hypothesized as the Colonial emigrant couple.

Joan Way [Parents] was born about 1550 in England. She died in 1603/1604 in Bridport, , England. She married Hugh (Bailey) Denslow on 17 Jul 1571 in Allington, Dorset, England.

Search for the Passengers of the Mary and John, 1630, Vol I. There is a record, dated 10 Oct 1590, of Joan Way, sister of Nicholas Wey (deceased), in connection with the latter's estate. Joan and her two brothers, William and Henry, who were mentioned as grantees of Nicholas Wey (deceased) of parish Byporte (bridport), Dorset.
