She died on 13 October, 22 Edward III [1348]. John Lovel, aged 8 years, son of John Lovel, knight, deceased, was her heir.

Joan de Ros was the daughter of Sir Robert de Ros and Isabel d'Aubigny.1 She married John Lovell, 1st Baron Lovell.1 She died on 13 October 1348.1 Her married name became Lovell.1
