Joann Maroney

Joann Denning was born to Nathan Jones Denning and his wife, Della Wilson Denning on October 21, 1932, in Long Beach, California. In the 1940 U.S. Federal Census for Compton, Los Angeles County, California, JoAnn and her parents and siblings were living at 504 South Temple, in a home they were renting for $20.00 per month. At the time, Joann was 7 years old, her parents were 37, and her brothers Nathan D., 14, and Aaron Sant Denning, 12. Her father was working as a salesman in the auto retail industry. For the 9 weeks he worked at that profession for 44 hours per week in 1939, he earned income of $400.

Joann married Karl D. Hird on January 3, 1958 in Los Angeles County, California. Exactly when they were divorced is unknown, however, six years later she married Robert Zeb Maroney in Los Angeles County on August 24, 1963. At the time they were both 30 years old, but they were also divorced just seven years later in May, 1970, in the city of Los Angeles. Robert then married Karen K. Taub on June 18, 1979, in Clark County, Nevada. Robert was the son of Howard and Tacy Maroney, and he was born June 10, 1933, in Arizona. In the 1940 U.S. Federal Census, Robert and his brother, Ray, were living with their parents on Hill Street in Gila, Arizona. Robert's father was working as a train motorman in the copper industry. Robert Zeb passed away September 21, 1989, in Orange County, California.

Joann Maroney passed away at the age of 71 years old, on November 4, 2004, and is buried in Corona del Mar, Orange County, California, at the Pacific View Memorial Park Cemetery. Prior to her death she had lived at 96 Calle Aragon, Unit C, Laguna Hills, California, 92637-3585, and at some point also lived at 1713 W. 14th Street, Parker, Arizona, 83544-5504.
