A Legacy Left Behind:
As I (DoraLynn, Joanne's daughter) have learned to live with a disease, that by all statistics will eventually become debilitating, I realize that my positive attitude - my zeal for living and doing what I want, don't slow down - comes from watching how my mama lived the end of her life. The legacy of her example continues to bless others as they marvel, some state they admire, my way of not giving in to Multiple Sclerosis. As the saying goes "you never know what example you might be setting for your children as they watch how you conduct your life". Thank you mama.
