"Job Coleman bought a tract of land of 50 pounds from Daniel Belden in 1773, which was likely the now so-called "Coleman Lot." He remained in town until 1796, when he went to Heath, Mass., where he owned a tavern. The following
year he sold his Shelburne property to Josiah Dole, son of Parker."
The Colman family moved to Heath about 1796. In 1805 the family was stricken by typhus, along with several neighbors, and the parents and three children died. First Rhoda, aged 26, died on July 8. She was followed by Zenus, aged 19, on August 2; Joseph, aged 21, on August 5; then the parents, Job on September 2 and Elizabeth (aged 61) on October 25.
Heath Vital Records state that they were buried in Shelburne, [from FAG 47170039]
