About Job Gardner

Job Gardiner was born in Kingston, Rhode Island to Benjamin Gardner and Mary Howland in 1731. He married Hannah Britton on 15 December 1751. They moved to Stephentown, New York in 1752 and he passed away on 9 March 1806 in Stephentown, Rensselaer County, New York, USA.

Probated Will:

Job Gardner left a will that was probated on 20 March 1806. Named executors were his son Job Gardner, most likely Job Britton Gardner and his then current wife Anne, most likely his second wife since his first wife Hannah Britton had already passed away over two decades earlier, on 26 Dec 1781 in Stephentown, Rensselaer, New York. Named in his will were James Gardner (either as a son or perhaps a grandson), son Isaac and daughters or perhaps granddaughters Hannah and Alice -- both of them appear to be inscribed as daughters of son Benjamin Gardner.

This autobiography is in progress -- to be continued.
