Job was enliste May 28, 1777, in CPT William Judds Co, Farmington,Regiment, 1st and 8th Militia CT. Honorably discharged 1 Nov 1777.Served as a private. War record exists.

Left CT in 1787 to settle in Laceyville, PA. Were the first family to settle in Hemlock Bottoms, Wyoming, PA (next to Laceyville).(Per "WindhamTownship, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania 1787-1977"). Same reference lists Job as being born in 1740 in CT., and prob by differant mother than Anna Skinner. Also lists a son "Joel", who was not burried in Hemlock Bottoms.
