Jocelyn Brudenell Pelham, 6th Earl of Chichester, OBE (Sunday, 21 May 1871 – Sunday, 14 November 1926) was a British nobleman.
The elder son of Francis Pelham, 5th Earl of Chichester, and Alice, the daughter of 1st Baron Wolverton, he was educated at Eton. In 1898 he married Ruth Buxton with whom he had four children: Lady Elizabeth, Francis, Lady Prudence, who married Guy Branch, and John. He was a Deputy Lieutenant of Sussex; a Public Works Loan Commissioner and a Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel of the Royal Sussex Regiment.
He was awarded the O.B.E. in 1918.

The Earl of Chichester died at 2 a.m. yesterday, Sunday, 14 November 1926, aged 55, at his residence, Stanmer House, Stanmer Park, Stanmer, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex BN1 9QA 50.86778, -0.10306, near Lewes, from pneumonia.
Jocelyn Brudenell Pelham, O.B.E., sixth Earl of Chichester and eleventh baronet, was born in May 1871, and educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire SL4 6DW 51.492, -0.608 and Trinity College, Trinity Street, Cambridge CB2 1TQ 52.2070, 0.1146. He was a public works loan commissioner, justice of the peace, and a deputy-lieutenant for East Sussex, also a member of its territorial army association.
He married, in 1898, Ruth, daughter of the late Francis William Buxton, by whom he had two sons and two daughters. He is succeeded in the title by Lord Pelham, his eldest son.
The death occurred at Stanmer, Lewes, at two o'clock yesterday morning, Sunday, 14 November 1926, of the Earl of Chichester, after a two days' attack of pneumonia.
Jocelyn Brudenell Pelham, 6th Earl of Chichester, was born in 1871 and succeeded to the title in 1905. He is succeeded by his son, Lord Pelham, who is 21.
He was a large landowner in Kent and Sussex. Stanmer, his Sussex seat, is famous for its beautiful trees.
As a Pelham the late Earl was linked by marriage with Oliver Cromwell, for the second Lord Pelham, afterwards made an Earl, married a daughter of the Protector's great-grandson.
In his early years he was a well-known figure in North-West London, where he did much social work, particularly among the hooligan element, which was then very active and reckless.
The funeral takes place at Stanmer on Wednesday, 17 November 1926, at 2.15.

Jocelyn Brudenell Pelham, 6th Earl of Chichester graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Battalion Royal Sussex Regiment. He succeeded to the title of 6th Earl of Chichester on Friday, 21 April 1905. He succeeded to the title of 11th Baronet Pelham, of Laughton, Sussex on Friday, 21 April 1905.
He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex. He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the service of the 5th Battalion Royal Sussex Regiment. He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.
