Joel Abraham Lee

Joel A. Lee of Ringgold died at his home November 10 at the age of 80 years. Funeral services were held at the Springhill Baptist Church near Ringgold with the Rev. Carter Hall officiating. Mr. Lee was a member and deacon of this church. Interment was in the Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of Ringgold.

Survivors are four sons, Joseph H. and Travis of Ringgold, Jessie of Kilgore, and O.R. Lee of Magnolia, Ark.; five daughters, Mrs. L.L. Locke of Shreveport, Mrs. Embry Adams, Mrs. A.B. Little, all of West Monroe, and Mrs. Elizabeth Franklin of Ringgold; two brothers, Laban Lee of Shreveport and W.H. Lee of Ringgold; three sisters, Mrs. Dave Roberson of Minden, Mrs. Evie Hinton and Mrs. Bessie Roberson, both of Shreveport; 28 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
