I have the following information regarding Holzapfel. I am searching for his ancestors or any information regarding the surname.
Wilhelm Harry * Bunde, Wesfale 18.1.1876 + in the veld at Bonnievale 16.11.1940, burried at Tulbagh, son of Harry Holzapfel
and Frederike NN x Rhenisch church , Sarepta 19.7.1905 Anna Maria Martin * Grosseichenholzheim 25.1.1877 + Malmesbury
4.2.1961 burried at Tulbagh, daughter of Peter Martin and Frederike NN. W.H. Holzapfel came in 1903 as a missionary to South Africa and worked till 1913 at Sarepta. He got transfered
to Tulbagh where he died and celebrated on 4 and 5 February 1939
his 25 years service jubileum in the community.
Presently I know only of two Holzapfel families in South Africa.
