Johan Myburgh (1975 – 2008)

Brief overview:

Johan (33), was murdered on his parent's farm Rietfontein. The farm is about 25 km outside Groblersdal on the Middelburg road.outside Groblersdal, Limpopo on 19th April 2008. He was shot through a window. A single shot hit him in the back of the head and he died instantly.

Mr. Johan Myburgh Jr. was killed in his father's lounge chair in front of the television. His arm was still behind his head, his one leg was folded under his body and next to him was a bottle of soft drink when his grandfather came across his body on Saturday morning.

According to insp. Kgeredi Moela from the Groblersdal police station, his attackers then gained access to the house by breaking a window in one of the bedrooms and climbing through the window.
