This source http://www.safrika.org/Names/PersonaliaEgs.html provides the following information, copied from Hoges' Personalia of Germans in South Africa (https://familysearch.org/search/catalog/462239?availability=Family%...):
ANHÄUSER, Johann Philipp (S ANHUYSER). - Kreuznach. So. 1775-81, cook in hospital 1782-89. +20.12.1827. ~14.9.1788 Cecilia of the C.
Children: Johan Philip, Johanna Petronella, Susanna Catharina (all three bapt. 11.1.1784), Coenraad (8.5.1785), Johan Valentyn (6.4.1787), Elisabeth Geertruyd (28.12.1788), Leonardus Fredrik (15.8.1790), Philip Lodewikus (25.3.1792), Willemina Francina (28.9.1794). (GMR 1775-89; Test.OC. 39:57; Test. CJ 1194:12; CJ 1113:42; Test. O.C. 39:57; Inv. O.C. 43:27.)
A "Meester" P. Anhuyser was appointed "Voorleser" and schoolmaster of Swellendam on 15.10.1798 (Spoelstra II, p. 524). He may be identical with Johann Philipp A. In Rq. CJ 833 under 27.3.1794 a Johann Philip Anhuyser is mentioned as privileged burgher-butcher. This was perhaps a son of Johann Philipp A. and identical with Johann Philipp Anhuyser who died at Tulbagh in 1796 (according to Mr. C.R. Venter at Tulbagh).
Johanna Petronella A. ~ Philipp Andreas Barchfeld; Susanna Catharina A. ~ Francois Peter Petrie; Elisabeth Geertruyd A. ~ Emanuel Vidastius Gabriels; Willemina Francina A. ~ Robert Gunn; Johan Valentyn A. ~ Magdalena Sophia Velbron.
Leonardus Fredrik A. was contractor for the new building of the "Groote Kerk" at Cape Town. (According to the late Archivist Dr. A. Dreyer.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Based on the data above, that he was a soldier for the VOC from 1775-81, a birthdate around 20 years before 1775 is assumed.
It gives his marraige date to Cecilia "of the Cape" (or van de Kaap) in 1788, although their first child, Johanna Petronella was apparently born in 1776.
(See also "About" his spouse Cecilia van de Kaap.)
