Johan George Meyer, who appears in German Church records available at Ancestry.com and familysearch.org, as Hans Jerg Maier with wife Sibylla, Hanss Jerg Mayer with wife Sybilla and Jerg Mayer with wife Sybilla had three children baptized in Heutsingham, Neckarkries, Wuerttemberg, Germany, Johann Georg in 1725, Christian in 1727 and Maria Sarah in 1729. They are his only known children.
“Arrived in Philadelphia 25 November 1740 on the ship LOYAL JUDITH, captained by Lovell Painter. Most of the rest of the 265 passengers were Palatines. It's not clear whether Johann was accompanied by his family on this first arrival; they may have followed later after he had found land and established himself.” [sic: This man could not have arrived on the Loyal Judith on Nov 25, 1740. The only Meyer was listed with various spellings of Jorg Karl Meier and was listed as being 23 years old, i.e., born 1726/27.]
