This congregation later became part of the Rosenort Mennonite Church. It is possible that he was the Johann Sawatzky mentioned in the Gross Mausdorf Lutheran Burial Register as having been buried 27 Nov 1752 since the Gross Mausdorf Parish covered much of the area where Mennonites lived who were members of the Rosenort Mennonite Church.The Doreen Ediger submission contains a sheet that statesThe Doreen Ediger submission contains a sheet that states: "He was the only Sawatzky from the group known as the Quietists, who joined the Mennonite Church.
