Jacob Hoch, son of Melchior and Barbara Hoch, was born Liestal, Switzerland. Jacob married Elisabeth, daughter of Rev. Daniel Longenecker, in 1732, likely at Mingo Creek, Philadelphia County, PA (now Montgomery County, PA). Jacob's death date is obscure, some report date as early as 1756.
