Martin Kershner was born in Langenselbold, Germany the son of Johan Konrad Kirshner and his 2nd wife Anna Margaretha Keyser.He married Anna Elizabeth Schuffert the step daughter of his half brother Johan in the year 1732.In 1742 the family immigrated to America.
